Brace yourself for an exhilarating experience as you ride into the desert wilderness in your preferred ‘Ship of the Desert’. Start your epic adventure with an approximately 60-minute ride from the city. As you reach the serene sand, an experienced off-road instructor will welcome you with your assigned vehicle to put you through the paces. After the safety briefing, you’re off on a roller-coaster ride as your rugged vehicle sails over the soft sand dunes, deep into the pristine desert terrain. One thing's for sure - this is a driving experience you'll remember for years to come! As you might need some refuelling after your adventure, some refreshments and a snack box are ready for you to be enjoyed. Your thrilling desert escape concludes with a drive back to your hotel in the city. Since your safety is our main concern, we will ensure that your adventure is safe yet memorable and fun-filled.

• This experience involves off-road driving across sand dunes and off-road tracks. As the drive can be rough in certain areas, we are unable to accept pregnant women, persons with heart ailments and back or neck problems to take part in this experience. • Participants must be over the age of 21 with a minimum of two years driving experience. • A minimum of two people are required for a booking. • Transfers will be in a private four-wheel drive vehicle. The operator will contact you within 24h to 48h of the tour date to confirm pick up location and time. • This tour is not wheelchair accessible. • Dress code: light summer clothes are recommended. Sweaters or jackets may be needed for the winter months, especially in the evenings. Good quality sunglasses and hats are advised. WINTER PICK UP TIMINGS as from 1st October 2024: • The morning tour departs approximately between 7:30am and 8:o0am. • The afternoon tour departs approximately between 3:00pm and 3:30pm. • Please confirm your exact pick-up time with the supplier after the booking is confirmed, to avoid inconveniences. • The duration of the actual tour is about 4-4.5 hours but the transfers to and from Dubai hotels may take an additional 60-90 minutes depending on traffic conditions and time of day. • All guests must send the supplier a copy of their passport and international drivers license as well as a signed disclaimer form. • All participants will be asked to sign an Indemnity Waiver Form before undertaking the experience. • In-case of any accidents, Orient Tours LLC will not be liable for the clients. • No insurance is provided or available for any incident including accidents, damage, loss, injury, etc. caused by or to the hirer during the self-drive. The hirer shall be solely liable and responsible for all consequences as a result of any such incident.
